I'm with node (nprofile…samd) on this. Folks just expect zaps for existing when we zap newbies. We have to welcome them and show them the way.

I stopped zapping newcomers a while back. I think it’s the same reason why I lost interest in zapathons. Both have too much potential to be abused by scammers.
No doubt about it we’re setting them up for disappointment.
When our wave started on nostr, we were from twitter or some were new. We didn’t have a zapping committee in introductions. No weird expectations. And a lot of us are still here. Something to think about I guess
