Hitler was just so much more than any Caesar or Napoleon. Yes he was a competent commander and chief, yes he sparred in the political sphere, but for a man to come from the bottom, tie all the talented men of his generation together into one movement and accomplish all he did with no larger, corrupting ambition, just purely on the virtue of his cause; is there any other who surpasses him?
