It’s not just about Trump not being above the law — it’s about demagogues not becoming the law. For that to happen, democracy’s justice system must prevail, and hold them to account. Trump being indicted is a sign that, no, he isn’t above the law. But finding him guilty would be a demonstration that he shouldn’t become the law.”
