Oh for Python I 100% agree, that package ecosystem is a mess of unbelievable proportions. I don't think I've once been able to pull a Python project from source and have it just work. That's very specific to Python not having a `package.json`, lockfile & Bundler concept though IMHO. Go, Rust and JS are very different from this.
