Weirdly enough, while it was gut wrenching to watch / read about, this whole fiasco yesterday may end up working out better for Ukraine than if it hadn't happened. Not saying that Ukraine is in a good position, but Trump was never going to support them, and with this recent sickening display of cowardice, prejudice and just plain greed, Trump has firmly rallied the international community who are no longer under any illusion that the US may step in to help.
