You aren’t worth all my effort. No one is. Especially not you.

But I’m also not asking you to change for me. I’m just lamenting this reality. I can keep playing with your heart as I have been, sadistic grooming, and that will be fun. But ethics and values aren’t something that can be created so simply. I guess I was hoping that shame would at least make you realize you need to be selfish in more prosocial ways. That would have at least been enough to create some rudimentary moral sense, even if it was just self serving. But it didn’t.
