Washing machine broke, did 5 mins of online research, found the problem, and found the part.
It was a $32 part. Luckily I’m a handy mofo and swapped it out in 5 mins. But to call a “specialist” would be a $150 charge to show up, a part fee with 20-50% mark up, then labor for the actual work. Next thing you know, a cheap and easy fix cost the same amount of a new washer. And it was designed that way.
Designed to fail capitalism is fucked.
