And just to be completely fair here: there was one situation years ago where a friend and I were about to be beaten up by neonazis and while we tried to run away and get help a bunch of cops drove by and stopped to check what was going on. Lucky us I guess.

But spoilers: the case against the nazis who had threatened us and already injured my friend went nowhere because one of them didn't show up for the court appointment (for which I had to travel back there because I had already moved to Berlin) and then I never heard anything again.

They caught an assault in progress and still couldn't manage to do anything with it. Great job.

Fuck cops.
