Speaking from experience as one who went from poverty to much higher income as an adult.
It’s the small things I never noticed until they were adults. My children are all caring, loving, & fight for their individual rights & beliefs.
But it didn’t occur to me until recently they were given those things because they didn’t have to worry about many of the things I did growing up.
Always told them all I wanted for them was to be happy. They each are in their various choices of careers ( while in college) and art.
It’s SUPPORTING them no matter what you believe as the parent is the best choice that matters. Humans just want to be accepted for who they are.
Example: you have a child that is brilliant in school & can go to any college … yet they choose to pursue dance. Well she chose it & her father and I support her. We did tell her of the standard of living & showed her what those in her field make. She loves it.
Does this make sense?
