i'm not sure what you mean by "overall", like, do you mean we have net positive carbon (we do and that's bad, but that has been happening for like, over a century lol, it didn't start in 2023) or that absolutely no carbon was absorbed by plant matter (that is wrong, otherwise all plants would have literally just died, they use co2 to produce glucose, which is their food)?
