The first thing on my hit list would be reworking yn_function so it takes and returns structured data. The DS port resorts to parsing strings to figure out the question and options so it can provide a more suitable context-specific UX (e.g. if it's a directional prompt, letting the user pick with the d-pad), which just feels... dirty. :D
