4 port PCIe HBA for M.2 NMVe drives. They make an 8 port version of this too, but a single card costs $800. Too rich for me.
I'm interested in maxing this card out (8 TB) on a dual AMD EPYC board & treating it like a no-raid (JBOD) with ZFS. Use all 8 terrabytes as cache space for database workloads (and raster cache space for giant arrays). Can do a lot of damage reading/writing at 20000 MB/s.
Anyone in #FreeBSD land used this HBA card? Or #postgis / #gis folks?
