2 problems Bitcoin needs to solve to become a usable currency (at scale) tough, tps (increase the block size) and fungability/privacy.

Sadly a lot of people are against improvements because they see Bitcoin as perfect.

Privacy was obviously important for Satoshi "privacy can still be maintained by breaking the flow of information in another place: by keeping public keys anonymous." but thanks to KYC this is not really easily doable anymore.
