One of the absolute worst degradations in modern/mobile UIs is the way tap targets are constantly moving as content is dynamically loaded.

Many times I have tapped the wrong thing because something has moved.

I have even sometimes hovered my thumb millimeters away from the screen, waiting to be sure nothing will change, and the *moment* before I make contact, the content of the screen changes and I tap the wrong thing.
