They most assuredly played a role but I think the issue I have is a lot of liberals stop there. There is no further looking, no further understanding. Boom, that's it. No need to wonder how to overcome racism/sexism. It is a start but there is so much more we need to dig into to fully understand the issue (it is capitalism)
