Policy-wise, the social-democrats are further to the left than, say, UK’s labour and two of the social democrats’ likely candidates for ministries are the people responsible for steering Iceland’s successful response to the Covid pandemic. Also, unlike UK’s Labour, we don’t have to deal with an economy in terminal decline
A right-wing coalition is also possible but a bit less likely because of the personalities involved.
