For a modern person who is told that the meaning and fulfillment of life are to be found in expressing oneself’s “True Being” the purpose of an “education” is not to be formed to reflect the shape of society, but to preform their whims and inner desires.

This is why colleges are “safe spaces”. We no longer expect that a young person should grow up to be a valuable and useful member of society, instead we tell them to act upon the base desires of the heart, and clap for them when they do.
