No water for us today (along with most of the Southern Suburbs) , because someone stole some valves from a bulk water main.

I'd love to know who is *buying* these things.

It's bad enough to have fences, train cables, and manhole covers go missing, but canabalising the water system seems even more dystopian. It's like our city is eating itself.
