Farley on Nostr: ...
Sleep might even hint at the cyclical nature of existence, a daily rehearsal for the mysteries of life, death, and rebirth. Just as we let go of our daily identities and "return" in the morning, sleep may symbolically connect us to a deeper truth: that consciousness exists beyond the bounds of time and memory. In this sense, sleep becomes a journey back to the source, a time when the ego rests and pure awareness is allowed to "reset."
So, perhaps the mystery of sleep lies in this need to reconnect and realign with our true nature—a state of awareness untouched by the wandering mind, unburdened by memory, and rooted in something timeless. Through sleep, we might be reminded that the "mystery of man" is less about what we know and more about what we are when knowledge, time, and self-identity all fade away.
