The more I look into the sshd CVE-2024-6387 the more it looks hyped. Got to be a 32-bit platform, can't be running fail2ban. A one-liner configuration change is a good-enough workaround for most people.
Yeah, people should update. But a patching process which doesn't prioritise a sshd security update has other issues.
