This weekend seems to be the second anniversary of his homecoming from New Priory Vets. He was an in-patient for around eleven days, with hypocalcaemia – an extraordinarily long time to stabilise – following a second thyroidectomy.
Nowadays, it's simple: alfacalcidol (One-Alpha), 2mcg/ml, 0.05 ml daily. He's a perfect out-patient, positively welcomes the syringe, knowing that a thirty-minute countdown to breakfast has begun for him and Pickle.
