I keep having DAW paralysis. I'm saving up to get the full version of Ableton 12, but it's like $370. I have Ableton lite, its nice, Serum just sounds fucking amazing. I think it Ableton colors the output a bit.
However I keep seeing people posting their workflow in FL Studio and honestly what people can do with is super impressive. Plus it's only $100 and forever free updates. However I've been told that once you learn on FL Studio, it's going to be really hard to switch to anything else because FL Studio's workflow is very unique.
THEN there's Reaper, which is basically free since the trial period never runs out. All the professional guys say that its the best, even DeadMAUS. But the UI is rough, Reaper has a massive learning curve.
AHHHH, I just got to pick one and stick with it. I can't make up my mind, I keep bouncing around...
