I think it’s partly down to the right hashtag and the right time. Sometimes I will get lots of replies and others times it’s dead because no one else is around. This is me personally, but I don’t sit on Mastodon like I did on the birdsite, doomscrolling away for most of the evening. I’m not sure if others spend less, but more quality, time here too?
