menu bars make a lot more sense as keyboard-driven macro-menu. Click Alt, see what letter corresponds to what menu, click corresponding buttons until it does what you need. I prefer it more than shortcuts set in settings really because I can see all the options right before my eyes.
What I dont like in menu bars is visibility at all times, this is why I always hide them whenever possible, and only invoke with Alt whenever needed.
