#Russia’s well-informed VChK-OGPU channel writes (quoting documents) that General Pavel Klimenko, commander of the 5th Motostrike Brigade, did not die heroically as a result of being hit by an FPV but died from wounds sustained after riding drunk on a motorbike and crashing into a ditch. The FPV legend was invented later, the general had already been nominated for the Hero of Russia award, but according to the doctors receiving the injured Klimkin, he had not the slightest sign of shrapnel or explosion wounds. Instead, he was badly broken, and heavily drunk. Klimkin was travelling in the company of two soldiers, both of whom were repeat offenders. Neither of them was injured in the accident.
