i think it was, and iirc you are you are right that we should focus on elevating independent studios, publishers, music labels etc. i'm just more on the side of never discouraging piracy even for silly reasons lol, not enough people pirate, and alot of people actually believe the anti file sharing propaganda

My default position is just pirate everything, especially everything that is put out by big corporations, *except* the things you really want to *support* like independent game devs, musicians etc. so yeah bandcamp, buying books or games directly from the creator, leaving a good review, sharing their stuff on the socials, it's fun and easy, builds a community, all that good stuff
