I don't know that "Bob" operates on a need basis. He does things, and the needing to do them / need that they be done is not there. Like that time he called the cops on me & said I was a bank robber, but I wasn't. Did he "need" to do that? Not that I know. I got out of the experience what I got out of it. I might have learned that lesson some other way, but that's what happened. The lesson? "It sucks when "Bob" calls the cops and tells them you're a bank robber." Then "Bob" sent me an invoice!
