Great news for Indigenous folks in California: In a historic new development, Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) has purchased 1,340 acres of the Juristac cultural landscape and wildlife corridor for its protection.
The mining hasn’t been halted. Only postponed. But 1340 acres are officially protected. Huge win.
