their blood mages kinda suck though so by middle game the only "spammable" summon for blood economy is like these guys, and that's only on wastes 
probably better to leverage the sailing prowess and play a real economy game, but the troops are meh and it's hard to really mage ball with no astral. so you kinda just have to pick up on what's going on and give it your all with good research picks for elemental spells, and *still* hone and use the good blood mages to their fullest because it's the strongest thing to do before you're summoning shit like telkines
this is in age where every other nations shits out giants, berserkers and death mages alas, I think I'm playing vs ai so I should welcome the challenge
