I applied for a new job last night on indeed, and it required a "management skills test" in addition to the application itself. This included a question about how to best coerce your employees to "return to office" even though most them are working remotely and being productive anyway. Like, what the fresh hell is this?
And I should note that it included absolutely zero response options for "don't be an ableist bitch and at least continue hybrid work to enable people with disabilities and especially vulnerable to COVID to keep their jobs." This was the org's fault, as this is like a standardized "test" by the platform, but it sure says something to me that this is being ideologically inserted as something they think employers want you to be prepared to do.
May they step on loose Legos and mysteriously bruise their elbow.
