Proxi is set now, in an eco-village just outside Chicago. Post apocalypse, it has all the means for survival.
Most alien movies seem to use New York or Washington. I wanted to do something different.
I chose the US because of climate change denial, guns and the general libertarian culture of individualism (sorry US friends 🤔).
