Hahaha. I bought a 4-plex in 2003. Mortgage was $1400/month. when all 3 units were rented out ($600/mo each) I lived free. Then 2008 happened. I went under water for a year and said fuck this. I walked away from it in December in Colorado with the water still connected.
The bank received a total shit box of a building I heard.
