my initial take on Zed editor is that it has too much GitHub and Copilot stuff baked in (i don't use either).. ..there should be options to disable all that.. ..theming is super-easy, but it's annoying that it doesn't respect system fonts for the UI.. ..it seems pretty fast overall, but i'm sure this editor will be much better in a year or two..
