Consider this for a while. Lots of people in pews, pulpits, and outside the Church will tell you the Bible is not entirely without error, it is not fully infallible, and it is not fully inspired by God.
Ok. But then we are faced with a significant problem -- such as: How can we be SURE our sins are forgiven? How can we even be SURE there is a heaven? How can we be sure God really does love us? There are many other such questions -- ALL of which are answered by the Scriptures -- BUT if we do not believe the entire Bible from Genesis through Revelation is fully without error, inspired and infallible -- then which parts are we to believe? On which parts are we to base our lives? On which parts can we find comfort in trials?
No -- we are left with a proverbial house of cards when we start down that road. And don't think for a moment that the enemy of our souls will not sweep in and blow our house down.
Come to think of it, isn't that what Jesus said? Look at Matthew 7:24ff
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. 26 Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”
God is omnipotent. He can do whatever He chooses to do. With the breath of His mouth He created the entire universe. Don't you think, with that kind of power, He is able to ensure the Bible was and will always remain fully without error, fully infallible, and fully inspired by Him?
