Last night, my cat got attacked by a coyote, and so I brought her to an emergency vet.
Generally, I try to keep her inside the house.
But I had to connect my air conditioner to my upstairs patio door, and I had been using a screen door to keep my cat in.
Unfortunately, my cat figured out how to open the door. And as a result, she had been gallivanting around the neighbourhood last night.
Unfortunately, she got ambushed by a coyote. And this morning, my wife discovered the cat beside her with puncture wounds across her bell and tail, and broken claws.
So we rushed her to emergency.
Thankfully, none of the wounds are deep and she’ll survive. We got lucky, but now we got to figure out a way to keep that screen door closed.
