I have finally managed to get a new #Pixelfed instance to run properly and I've got a new cool handle: nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqxjzcq8gv0mevq39rvrh7x6wlgehy97vwel4gwlxf58p7nky92zlscf43zk (nprofile…43zk).
I'm happy to see how much progress Pixelfed has done over the past couple of months (last time I tried to set it up I had plenty of issues with migration scripts and a half-baked Docker image, now everything went smooth from step 1).
Another lesson learned: before nuking any existing federated instance, copy all the keys. All kind of weird things start happening when you recycle the domain and handles of a former instance without using the same keys. I guess that some thought was put to prevent impersonification of profiles on dead instances.
