"content": "Ok, wow, that was super painful, but I'm back to printing again. Somehow this happened (picture). In the place where it should get drawn through the gears it melted away and then went sidways and made a big blob. No way to clean this up without disassembling the whole print head thing. But this (I believe) was a secondary problem. The main problem was that somehow the nozzle was totally clogged. I took it out and stared at it. Then took a deep breath and clipped the 1/8th inch of filament sticking out of the top. Then assembled the print head again and heated it way up ... then got the long wire thing that came with the kit and pushed it down and suddenly the clog dislodged. Then I was able to extrude manually. And so now I've had that all apart and hopefully mostly back together again correctly.
