I was just out on my deck topping up the heated bird bath out there. It’s rated to be good down to -20°F, and I can vouch for -19°. Expecting -2° tonight.
I heard a couple geese honking. Weird, it’s dark, it’s 9:30, what’re they doing? Then a few more, honking. And more, honking. LOMG there’s 100s of the buggers. Can’t see em, but my eyes register black bits moving across the black sky. Flying south. Good thinking. About time.
