I read a post quoting Canadians who say they like #Poilievre because he “sticks to the facts.” Nonsense of course, but he comes across with such confidence (and telling people what they want to hear) that people fall for it. I am reminded of AI: answers that are often wrong, but delivered with enough confidence and the air of plausibility that people are taken in by untrue statements. #cdnpoli
