The difference is that I am not convinced it's plausible rather than that I am convinced it's implausible. The whole thing seems a little unlikely, but someone calling the secret service is more likely.
What I *am* convinced they would not do is call someone and say, "We're gonna call your employer and tell them you're super racist on the internet!" Presumably we'll find out soon enough from either the news or creamqueen.
