Tarnport on Nostr: I see the news about previously unimaginable ways to retrieve DNA and finally ...
I see the news about previously unimaginable ways to retrieve DNA and finally identify killers in murder cases long ago gone ice-cold, and all I can think about is the novel in there. Imagine a killer thinking for decades they were safe, having gotten away with it, put it far behind, and now at an accelerating pace tech starts closing in: DNA, databases, facial recognition, what next to dread? How would a book like The Lovely Bones unfold if a killer never knew for sure they were safe?
