Number 2 in #ianstop102023 is another (some might say) dull image. Not me! I spent A YEAR OF MY LIFE getting this. Every day at midday (1pm in summer) twixt Sept 2022 and 2023 I took a 20 second picture using a pinhole camera with a single 4x5 inch glass plate. I then developed it by hand. The feeling of holding this image in my hand after a year of work was sublime. Yes I missed the full analemma but this is our planets orbit on glass. Fucking brilliant IMHO. Behold the midday analemma!
