The big festival of the week is the Edmonton Folk Music Festival. It's sold out except for the Thursday night opening concert by Feist, but there is an official ticket swap.
Cariwest happens downtown, including a parade on Saturday (August 12), Sunday kids zone, and vendors and entertainment at Churchill Square Friday through Sunday.
