It is such a weird moment for the government to take on the Google search monopoly. Even if you don't think AI is about to destroy search*, it's at least possible. You could give it a couple years.

Of course if you really think AI is going to destroy search, then you can really leave Google alone. It doesn't matter anymore.

* - in a good way, by providing better answers, or in a bad way, by providing nothing but trash answers through page rank
