I never did anything "properly" because I would try and try and fail to be "good enough".

I'm pretty happy now with my voice and how I present (makeup, etc), even though they're a long way away from my ideal.

After failing so much to get it right, I decided "fuck it" and just winged it. I can fix it later.

Well, I still haven't figured out how to fix it, but I'm much happier with it regardless.
