Nowadays, only bilionaries can attack the deep state. Suppose you were in Trump or Musk's place. They would throw the book over you, dozens of processes, more or less bogus. From taxes, fake news and calumny to rape, unacknowledged children. It would be easier if you really had issues like or close to that (like them do), but the laywers would hit you anyway.
for Musk or Trump, this is Tuesday. For you, it would be the end of your life. It does not matter if you win, or how bogus the cases are, the process is the punishment, and it might be made unbearable for mere mortals.
Unless you had a strong party or a billionary team backing you up and paying your lawyers, but then, my premise is satisfied.
And if the deep state falls even partially it will be a humongous power vacuum.
All we can hope is that they don't abuse their newly found power.... too much.
Like, Musk expertise is really interesting to audit the government, the nerd team is welcome, but.... it would be conceivable that DOGE is taking care to keep govenment data away from Musk's enterprises... is it? will it?
