Sovereign tech won’t work if it relies on users to run and maintain servers. With nostr we can offload application data onto commodity relays. It would work but it’s not at an engineering standard which i would like. Still much room for innovation here. Shouldn’t have to run any server code, its too hard for most people. I would like to see it done with just relays nostr clients.
