I feel like there has to be a VASTLY easier implementation than this raw-js-plus-DOMPurify mess. Trying to read right at 120 lines of JS to generate 12 lines of HTML is a mess. If I could use Jinja2 templating to generate the template JS is using that'd be amazing.
