npub1srv743phgkjg9k7den5tycaewlpr7zm4mff0pyylnslxgeyynm7sva45z0 (npub1srv…45z0) I remember in 2020 when they briefly "canceled" the Supporters Shield and I vehemently argued with our Empire Supporters Club reps on the Shield council, saying that this is exactly what MLS wanted to do—undermine a trophy that they do not own in an effort to de-value it. That they were doing MLS' work for them.
Wasn't necessarily because of anything I said, but they thankfully backtracked.
