html-paragraph from sgml-mode.el inserts closing </p> only if sgml-xml-mode is true, which it isn’t if you are editing HTML (and not XHTML). I wish it didn’t do that. It’s optional, sure, but it’s also a pain 🤷 Setting sgml-xml-mode to always be t has its own problems. I guess I’m going to override html-paragraph itself then
